Barangay Ginebra San Miguel showed nerves of steel against the gutsy Star Hotshots to notch an 89-76 win in an epic Game Seven and punch a ticket to the Oppo PBA Philippine Cup finals on Tuesday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Sol Mercado finished with a season-high 23 points, four rebounds and five assists while LA Tenorio delivered 21 points, four rebounds, five assists as well as huge plays that doused a rally by Star in the last game of their Manila Clasico semifinal showdown.
