Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes named the 12-man line-up that will do battle with host Chinese Taipei on Friday, June 29, 7:00pm at the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium.
Reyes announced the composition for the 3rd window, 1st round match during team lunch at their hotel a day before the actual game.
Leading the charge against the hosts who are looking to improve their 1-3 record and avenge the 90-83 defeat they absorbed last November are naturalized big man Andray Blatche and two-time Best Point Guard in Asia Jayson Castro.
Terrence Romeo marks his much-awaited return to the national team after missing out the first two windows due to a knee contusion.
Joining Blatche up front are June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Gabe Norwood, Troy Rosario and Calvin Abueva.
Manning the backcourt along with Castro and Romeo are Matthew Wright, Roger Pogoy, Allein Maliksi and Jio Jalalon.
Missing the cut were Baser Amer, Carl Bryan Cruz and cadet Troy Rike.
Gilas currently totes a 3-1 record with two wins over Japan, one over Chinese-Taipei and a solitary loss inflicted by Australia.
