Franz Pumaren confident GlobalPort can level QF series with TNT on Monday

PBA Media Bureau

GlobalPort caught the wrong time to play its “worst game of the conference” after bowing to TNT in the opening game of their PBA Philippine Cup best-of-three quarterfinal series with TNT.

Head coach Franz Pumaren knew who to blame in their race-to-three-wins series on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

“I was forced to extend their minutes because we didn’t get any production from my other guys,” explained Pumaren. “I will say that this is our worst game of the conference,” rued Pumaren.

But Pumaren is unfazed with the challenge of sending the series to a rubber match.

“I’m still confident that we can level the series on Monday,” he said. – FOX Sports Asia
