Gilas Pilipinas resumes SEABA campaign against dangerous Thailand

Now halfway through achieving its goal, Gilas Pilipinas resumes performing its task as it plays Thailand in Day Five of the 2017 SEABA Championship at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Tuesday.

It’s likely to be another walk in the park for the Nationals but they’re eager to make it worthwhile by maximizing the workout and experimentations they can get in this match set at 7 p.m.

Needless to say, the Thais will try hard to compete and pull off an upset in a bid to get back into the fight for the SEABA crown they once won in Medan, Indonesia in 2013.

The Gilas scouts were in the gallery during the Thailand-Myanmar setto. They’re to dissect the Thais’ game before going to practice Monday night.

“We’ve taken a look at them. We’ve got all the feedbacks and we’ll use these to get ready for them,” said Gilas coach Chot Reyes. “We’ll concentrate on this game before thinking about the last two games.” – PBA
