Terrence Romeo has been placed by the GlobalPort Batang Pier on the trading block.

The 25-year old native of Imus, Cavite and resident guard of Gilas Pilipinas has reportedly asked for a trade and team management is willing to oblige.

In a report posted on, the Batang Pier had initially opened trade talks with MVP teams TNT and Meralco.

GlobalPort reportedly asked for 2015 1st overall pick Moala Tautuaa from TNT in exchange for its star guard but the KaTropa immediately struck the deal down as the team apparently wanted to wait for Tautuaa to fully develop into a force down low.

Romeo was next peddled to Meralco for the backcourt duo of Chris Newsome and Baser Amer.

This time, it was Norman Black’s turn to thumb down the trade proposal as the American mentor doesn’t want to part ways with Newsome.

Romeo ended the season by capturing his 3rd straight scoring title with an average of 23.3 points. The Gilas star likewise submitted impressive averages of 5.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game.
