After watching San Miguel Beer bring home the Perpetual Trophy via its third straight title conquest of the Philippine Cup, incoming Beermen import Charles Rhodes vows to bring his ferocious plays to the PBA.

Joining the Beermen’s victory party and fans day on Wednesday at Robinson’s Magnolia, the 6-foot-8 Rhodes said he’s ready to play and embrace his role with his team, hopeful he could help San Miguel win a second straight league title this season.

“I’m just a ferocious player,” said Rhodes. “I love contact. I’m just a passionate player. I play with passion.”

Rhodes is fresh from a stint with the Ulsan Mobis Phoebus in the Korean Basketball League recently where he averaged 23.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks—stats he intends to mirror with San Miguel.

“This is a place I always wanted to play in, so wherever I would’ve went to, I was going to give my hundred percent,” he shared. – FOX Sports Asia
