James Yap says Terrence Romeo is the new face of the PBA

PBA Media Bureau

There’s no doubt in James Yap’s mind that Terrence Romeo is the future of the PBA.

“Sa nilalaro ni Terrence ngayon, I think future siya. Alam ko yung feeling na ganoon, na sobrang taas ang kumpiyansa niya,” Yap said.

Yap had a first hand look on how deadly the two-time Scoring Champion can be as he was one of the bevy of Elasto Painter defenders who tried, and failed, to stop Romeo from nabbing a new career-high 44 points in GlobalPort’s 117-99 win over Rain or Shine on Sunday.

“Masaya naman ako kung si Terrence ang papalit sa akin na face of the PBA. Sana madala niya yung team niya sa championship. Yun naman ang pinaka-importante dun,” he said. – INQUIRER.net
