Jared Dillinger on win against Brgy. Ginebra: “It’s not revenge unless we beat them in the playoffs”

Meralco just whipped Ginebra in their Finals rematch of the last Governors’ Cup on Sunday but don’t expect wingman Jared Dillinger to be contented just yet.

In fact, Dillinger does not agree that they already served revenge to the Gin Kings despite their 15-point beatdown in their elimination round duel.

For the Fil-Am forward, their revenge masterplan would only be completed once they already return the favor and torment the crowd darlings in a playoff scenario.

“I’m a vet. It’s not gonna be revenge unless we beat them in the playoffs and we send their assess home,” stressed Dillinger, who waxed hot in the second half for 17 points to deny any Ginebra fightback.

“Then I will feel like we got our revenge. Elimination game? Yeah we won but it doesn’t matter ’til the playoffs start,” he added. – FOX Sports Asia
