Alaska rookie Jeron Teng, along with fellow former La Salle players Nobert Torres and Thomas Torres, were involved in a stabbing incident which happened Sunday morning at the parking area near the Early Night? club in Bonifacio Global City.

The 3 former Green Archers reportedly ran into a group of slightly older men who were jeering them which resulted in a heated argument. It later turned into a brawl which ended up with the 3 players getting stabbed.

Norbert sustained a long stab wound in his left arm while Thomas suffered stab wounds in both arms and chest. Teng was stabbed thrice in the back.

The three are currently recovering at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig and have been already declared out of danger.

Police were able to identify the three suspects through CCTV footage and have already arrested them. They are Joseph Varona (33), Williard Basili (38) and Edmar Manalo (40).

Teng earlier played for Alaska in the first game of a PBA double-header and was able to contribute 8 points and 10 rebounds in the team’s win over GlobalPort while Norbert Torres scored 5 points in Rain or Shine’s overtime victory over Magnolia in the second game.

Thomas Torres, meanwhile, is an incoming player of expansion team Mandaluyong El Tigre in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.
