Licensed Civil Engineer Jett Manuel became the latest Kabarangay.

The 12th overall pick of the 2017 PBA Rookie draft signed a one-year contract with newly crowned Governors’ Cup Champions Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel at the SMC headquarters in Mandaluyong City last Monday.

SMB Director and Brgy. Ginebra Governor Alfrancis Chua personally and formally welcomed Manuel into the team.

Terms of the deal were undisclosed but an official of MelMac Management, the agency that represents the UP graduate, said that it was ‘better than average’.

The same official said that the one-year deal will be used by Manuel to prove his worth and also as additional motivation to perform better.

Brgy. Ginebra opened training camp last Thursday, November 30.
