John Wilson is coming home.

The 7th overall pick of the 2010 PBA Rookie Draft is suiting up once more for the team that drafted him.

The 30-year old native of Binangonan, Rizal spent his first two years in the league with Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel. He was traded to Air21 Express in 2012 where he played for one season. He then spent two seasons with the Meralco Bolts, a season each with NLEX and Phoenix before returning ‘home’.

Wilson signed a one-conference contract with the Gin Kings last week, beating rookie hopeful Mikey Cabahug for the last spot on the team.

An elated Wilson couldn’t contain his excitement and savors the opportunity of playing once more for the league’s undisputed crowd darlings.

“Masaya and excited na nakabalik ako sa dati kong team. Hopefully, bago ako mag-retire o tumatanda na ako, makatikim man lang ako ng championship, kasi iba pakiramdam ng nag-champion ka sa gusto mong sport,” said Wilson.
