Kiefer Ravena announces decision to join the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft

The “Phenom” has finally thrown his hat into the PBA’s Rookie Draft pool.

In a message posted on his Twitter account, Kiefer Ravena made the short announcement which has been eagerly awaited by a good number of PBA and Filipino basketball fans in general.

The 23-year old son of former PBA and MBA star Bong Ravena last saw action for Chooks-to-Pilipinas in the recently concluded FIBA Asia Champions Cup wherein the Philippines placed 5th in a field of 10.

Ravena posted solid averages of 20.6 points (team-high), 3.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.3 steals in almost 30 minutes of playing time.

He wrapped-up his career in the UAAP playing five seasons for the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles with averages of 16.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.

He joins Chooks-to-Go teammates Raymar Jose, Jeron Teng and Fil-German Christian Standhardinger as the possible top picks in the upcoming 2017 PBA Rookie Draft which is scheduled on October 29, 2017.
