PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa said that he sees nothing wrong with the way the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals has been conducted.
“I think it’s fine,” he said. “If they find something wrong, they can go to the Commissioner’s Office.”
“We’re trying to run a good game, a fair game for everybody. The opportunity for them to win is present. What they do, of course, is all subjective. I’m trying to be as objective as possible.”
Narvasa also shared that he met with Star team manager Alvin Patrimonio, head coach Chito Victolero, and players Marc Pingris, Allein Maliksi, and Jio Jalalon earlier in the day after the Hotshots cried foul on what was perceived as an unfair officiating.
“They’ve been fined. I fined three players from Star simply because we had a good conversation today and they are very apologetic about it,” he said. – INQUIRER.net
