Lou Amundson feels nothing but gratitude as he wrapped up his short two-game stint with TNT.
Finishing his tour of duty with a 20-point, 8-rebound, and two block performance in his swansong, a 135-109 clobbering of Phoenix on Sunday.
Averaging 19.5 points on 40 percent shooting from the field, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks, Amundson has made a good account of himself and shared that he has bonded well with the team, making it hard for him to leave.
“Really, it’s kind of bittersweet. I like it here and my teammates are great people, coaches are great people. I’m just blessed with this opportunity and to be on this team for this short amount of time,” he said.
But knowing how the business works, the 34-year-old wishes nothing but great things for the KaTropa, especially with Donte Greene coming in.
“I think they’re going to be great. Having Jayson (Castro) was obviously huge for them. He’s a great player, so that’s a big lift,” he said. – INQUIRER.net
