One and done for Cinmeon Bowers as Hotshots tap Malcolm Hill as replacement

Star import Cinmeon Bowers is on the way out just a day after his PBA debut where the Hotshots posted a 103-86 win over Blackwater.

Star team governor Rene Pardo said Bowers’ replacement Malcolm Hill arrived in Manila on Sunday and will have his official height measurement early this week at the PBA office in Libis, Quezon City. Each team is allowed to tap an import with a height limit of 6-5.

But Pardo said Star coach Chito Victolero will still have take a better look at the 21-year-old Hill in practice, as well as make sure the incoming American passes the height measurement.

Should Hill pass the height measurement, the youthful American import is set to make his Star debut on Friday against winless Alaska at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Hill is coming off a recent stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Summer League. – FOX Sports Asia
