PBA collects P9K from technical foul fines; P26K in total for April 2-9

The PBA collected a total of P9,000 from fines that come with technical fouls called on players and coaches.

Star coach Chito Victolero was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against Brgy. Ginebra.

Alaska’s Calvin Abueva was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against Meralco.

GlobalPort import Malcolm White was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against Blackwater.

Blackwater team manager Johnson Martines was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against GlobalPort.

Blackwater’s Kyle Pascual was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against GlobalPort.

GlobalPort’s JR Quinahan was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against Blackwater.

TNT’s Jayson Castro was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against NLEX.

Star import Tony Mitchell was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against Mahindra.

Mahindra coach Chris Gavina was fined P1,000 for incurring a technical foul during their game against Star.

Aside from fines from technical fouls, the PBA also levied a P5,000 fine on the Mahindra rookie Jackson Corpuz for an FFP1 committed during their game against TNT. The game was Corpuz’ first in the league.

Phoenix’ Norbert Torres was fined P5,000 for an FFP1 during their game against SMB.

Phoenix import Jameel McKay was fined P1,000 for dress code violation.

TNT head coach Nash Racela was fined P5,000.00 for disrespectful gestures towards the PBA Technical Committee and P1,000.00 for disrespectfully addressing a game official.

A total of P26,000 was collected by the PBA from fines for April 2 to 9, 2017. – Mae Villarin
