PBA sees nothing wrong with Calvin Abueva’s ‘malakas pati sa taas’ remark

PBA Media Bureau

Despite Calvin Abueva’s post-game comment, moments after Alaska bowed out of the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals, the Office of the Commissioner isn’t inclined at penalizing the “Beast”.

PBA communications and external affairs director Willy Marcial said they found nothing wrong with Abueva’s post-game comment, in which the Alaska forward told media men after the game: “Siyempre alam naman natin na malakas ‘yung kalaban, malakas pati sa taas. Wala na tayong magagawa.”

Marcial said the 6-foot-1 Alaska wingman’s comment can have so many meanings.

– FOX Sports Asia
