PBA slaps P64K worth of fines on players, coaches, therapist for Finals Game 6 infractions

The PBA formally closed the 2017 Commissioner’s Cup by penalizing players, coaches and a therapist for various infractions committed during Game 6 of the recently concluded Finals series between the TNT KaTropa and eventual champion the San Miguel Beermen.

SMB players Alex Cabagnot, Gabby Espinas and Ronald Tubid were fined P5,000.00 each for entering the court without the permission of the game officials during an altercation.

SMB assistant coach Boyzie Zamar was fined P5,000.00 for entering the court without the permission of the game officials during an altercation.

SMB therapist Edward Bacason was fined P2,000.00 for entering the court without the permission of the game officials during an altercation.

TNT players Harvey Carey, Chris Rosales and Ranidel de Ocampo were fined P5,000.00 each for entering the court without the permission of the game officials during an altercation.

TNT coaches Nash Racela, Gilbert Lao and Bong Ravena were fined P5,000.00 each for entering the court without the permission of the game officials during an altercation.

SMB player Yancy de Ocampo was fined P5,000.00 for an FFP1 infraction.

SMB player Arwind Santos was fined P1,600.00 for second technical foul.

TNT player Ryan Reyes was fined P1,600.00 for incurring a technical foul.

SMB import Charles Rhodes was fined P4,600.00 for incurring his fifth technical foul.

Total amount of fines for Game 6 is P64,800. – Mae Villarin
