Jeff Chan played big in crunchtime, scoring the game-winning three-point play to cap Rain or Shine’s comeback from 17 points down and snatch a 96-94 win over the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the Oppo PBA Commissioner’s Cup Wednesday at SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

Chan finished with 24 points, including the clutch and-one that helped Rain or Shine (4-2) snap a two-game skid.

The Elasto Painters had stared at a 17-point deficit, 71-54, after a blistering 21-3 run by the Fuel Masters in the third frame.

But Rain or Shine suddenly came alive in the final stanza, launching a 16-5 finishing kick sparked by Jay Washington, James Yap and, of course, Chan who scored 14 points in the period. – InterAksyon.com
