Ronald Pascual, the third overall pick in 2014, is on a comeback bid in his floundering PBA career.
Since being traded to Blackwater last season by GlobalPort, the 6-3 former San Sebastain star only managed to play 1 game and has since “disappeared”. He was eventually released by Blackwater before the opening of the 42nd season.
The 29-year old gunner admitted he’s trying to make a return trip to the pros the league since mysteriously disappearing in the basketball scene for almost six months.
And Alaska opened its arms to the sweet-shooting wingman after dealing with some personal problems back home at Mexico, Pampanga.
Interestingly, an old friend in Calvin Abueva is willing to guide him to his road to redemption.
“Oo nga eh, masaya naman,” Pascual said of his former San Sebastian teammate. “Mas matagal kasama si Calvin eh, mas close kami eh. Di ako masyadong nahihirapan mag-adjust, siyempre bago lang ako, inaalalayan niya ako.” – FOX Sports Asia
