The losses continue to pile up for the Gilas Cadets.
Still smarting from a beating they received from a rebuilding DLSU squad, the Cadets were at the receiving end once more of another lopsided defeat, this time at the hands of reigning NCAA champion San Beda Red Lions.
The national team lost, 70-91, to stay winless at 0-3 in the 12th Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup, Sunday night at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Cadets were in the fight in the first quarter alone as the Red Lions tore the game wide open starting the 2nd canto.
San Beda took a 15-point lead during the halftime break and stepped on the gas in the 2nd half. The lead reached as high as 31 with 6 minutes left in the payoff period.
