June Mar Fajardo churned out import numbers while Alex Cabagnot came through with his career second triple-double performance as San Miguel Beer roared to a third straight win with a 129-117 drubbing of Columbian Dyip in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Wednesday night.
Fajardo produced a personal conference high of 37 points that went with 18 rebounds while Cabagnot delivered 20 points, 10 rebounds and the same number of assists, leading the Beermen to a third successive victory after earlier wins over Phoenix Petroleum and Barangay Ginebra.
Renaldo Balkman and Arwind Santos had their own huge productions, helping the Beermen tie the Magnolia Hotshots and the Fuel Masters at fifth place in the team standings at 3-3.
Balkman came up with 27 markers, 18 boards and six dish-offs while Santos contributed 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Beermen shrugged off the continued sidelining of Christian Standhardinger and handed the Dyip their fifth loss against three wins.
