New TNT KaTropa Terrence Romeo is so used to being criticized on his tendency to take too many shots in a game that he has already reached at a point that he doesn’t care anymore.
The 26-year old native of Imus Cavite was in the stoplight once again during his team’s 106-98 victory over the Phoenix Fuel Masters, Saturday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Romeo led TNT in scoring with 21 points but it took him a team-high 19 attempts to reach his total, making only 7 for a shooting clip of 36.8 percent. He also had the most attempts in their previous win over GlobalPort, putting up 13 and making only 4.
Through it all, Romeo thinks that he needed to take those shots as it is what the team expects from him.
