TNT extends win streak to 4 with 86-84 victory over slumping Mahindra

The TNT KaTropa continued their rise up the standings while adding to slumping Mahindra’s woes as they notched an 86-84 victory over the Floodbuster in the Oppo PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In a battle of two teams on contrasting trajectories, the streaking KaTropa picked up a fourth straight win to improve to 4-1 while the Floodbuster dropped to 1-5 after a third straight loss.

Mahindra put up a fight in this one, coming back from a nine-point halftime deficit to briefly take the lead in the fourth quarter but could not pull it off in the endgame.

TNT import Donte Greene posted 24 points, 14 rebounds and four assists while Troy Rosario chipped in with 11 points on 4-5 shooting.

Jayson Castro added 10 points and seven assists while Mo Tautuaa scored nine points off the bench. –
