A former rival who once broke its heart is ready to lead TNT’s title bid in the Commissioner’s Cup.
One-time Best Import awardee Denzel Bowles is all set to take his talents to the KaTropa side in the mid-season conference where teams are allowed to field a reinforcement with a maximum height of 6-foot-10.
A reliable source told FOX Sports on Friday night that the 6-foot-10 Bowles, now 27, has already informed Star management that he will make his PBA comeback, but this time with TNT in the import-laced tournament that gets going on March 17.
The former James Madison U standout suited up for the Purefoods franchise in three separate occasions, but is best remembered for leading the Hotshots, then known as B-Meg Llamados to the 2012 Commissioner’s Cup, beating Talk ‘N Text (TNT’s former name) in an epic finals duel that went the full seven-game route. – FOX Sports Asia
