Gilas Pilipinas bucked a poor start before whipping Thailand, 108-53, in the 2017 Seaba Championship Tuesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Japeth Aguilar sparked a strong in the second quarter, where the Philippines pulled away, turning a four-point lead to a 51-26 buffer.
Aguilar had a perfect game offensively, going 10-of-10 from the field to finish with 23 points, 15 coming in the second period alone.
The athletic forward also had five rebounds and two blocks. Abueva had 15 markers, six assists, two boards, and two steals, while Romeo contributed 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from threes.
Gilas, which rose to 4-0, faces Vietnam next on Wednesday.
