The San Miguel Beermen leaned on their defense and grit down the stretch, outlasting the Magnolia Hotshots 84-80 to win Game 4 of the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup Finals Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Alex Cabagnot paced the Beermen with his leadership and poise, notching 27 points on 10/16 shooting from the field. Marcio Lassiter had 18 points on 4/9 from the three point area.

Sangalang contributed a double-double for the Hotshots, tallying 22 points and 11 rebounds. Dela Rosa chipped in with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 1 block.

The Beermen will look to take their fourth straight PBA Philippine Cup title in Game 5.
