With Brgy. Ginebra sitting on a comfortable 89-73 cushion with 3:28 left, LA Tenorio and Terrence Romeo figured in a late-game altercation that spiced up the lopsided game.
The two got tangled in one possession, with Romeo feeling that Tenorio gave him a cheap shot. Romeo fired back by swinging an arm onto Tenorio’s waist.
Tenorio responded with a flop, and that exchange sparked a verbal scuffle between the former and current Gilas Pilipinas player. Cooler heads eventually prevailed, but Romeo was ejected from the game after getting slapped with a flagrant two.
Tenorio got a technical, as well as Ginebra coach Tim Cone and GlobalPort coach Franz Pumaren who tried to pacify the situation.
