Terrence Romeo joined the Gilas Pilipinas practice Monday for the first time since the weekly practices began, and he admitted that he’s far behind on the work.
“I have tons to work on, first of all, my conditioning. I have to catch up to them,” Romeo said at Meralco Gym.
Recovering from his battle with typhoid fever, the speedy guard is just happy to get back on the grind with the national team pool as he apologized to coach Chot Reyes for missing the previous sessions.
“I really wanted to practice but there are times that you really get sick. I told coach Chot that I’m sorry and I’ll just do what he wants me to do here in practice,” he said. – INQUIRER.net
