American import Denzel Bowles went ballistic recently against his former PBA team Star, notably on former Hotshots coach Jason Webb, stoking speculations of a complete falling out following his most probably last—stint with the Purefoods franchise.
Then the 6-foot-9 Bowles, now 27, accused Webb, a former PBA TV analyst turned full-time coach, as the main reason behind his so-so outing with the Hotshots during the same mid-season conference in 2016.
The former James Madison U standout, with team management citing he has to attend to personal matters back in the States, was replaced by fellow American Ricardo Ratliffe midway in the elimination round.
Told of Bowles’ reactions, Star governor Rene Pardo admitted he was not aware of the development.
“That’s his problem. We have no intention of getting him back anyway,” said Pardo in an SMS message on Sunday. – FOX Sports Asia
