For TNT veteran forward Ranidel de Ocampo, their Game 6 setback was not about a question of what the Katropa were lacking but rather a question of what they got plenty of.
De Ocampo pointed out the glaring difference of fouls called on Saturday as TNT failed to finish off two-time defending champion San Miguel, absorbing an 88-104 setback, which extended the series to a winner-take-all Game 7.
“Ang dami naming fouls eh,” said de Ocampo.” Doon pa lang talo na kami, yun ang kulang.”
TNT was called for 33 fouls, 22 more than what San Miguel had as De Ocampo was joined by Ryan Reyes, Kris Rosales, Mo Tautuaa, and Roger Pogoy that committed 4 fouls each.
The Beermen went to the line 41 times, making 28 while Katropa, on the other hand, made 17 of their 25 attempts in the stripes. – FOX Sports Asia
