The struggling Alaska Aces have enlisted the services of the high-flying Renz Palma to bolster its guard rotation for the ongoing Commissioner’s Cup.
Palma has been in reserved list of the Blackwater Elite for quite sometime now and there were reports that he was suspended due to the former UE Red Warrior being involved in a ‘ligang labas’ game.
The 6-foot-1 native of Nueva, Ecija, however, still represented the Elite in the 2019 PBA All-Star Slam Dunk Competition and even came close to dethroning perennial champion Rey Guevarra of the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters.
Palma was Blackwater’s 2nd round pick in the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft, 15th overall.
He played 6 games in the recently concluded Philippine Cup and averaged 2.67 points, 1.33 rebounds and 1 steal in 7 minutes of action.
