Don’t count NLEX out just yet.

JR Quinahan came alive in overtime and helped Aaron Fuller tow the Road Warriors to a 116-110 victory over Alaska Friday and into the heated mix for quarterfinals seats in the PBA Governors Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Almost costing NLEX the match in regulation, Quinahan quickly redeemed himself with 10 of his 15 points in the extension, including the game’s last seven points.

Fuller led everybody with 42 points on top of 22 boards, with his undergoal stab forcing a 99-all count and the extension before completing a three-point play that sent NLEX well on its way in the extra five minutes.

In the end, the Road Warriors arrested their three-game slide and improved their record to 5-5, good for seventh-running spot.
