Lester Prosper on practicing with San Miguel: “You can see why they are the champions”

Lester Prosper has only been with San Miguel for a few days and this early the Columbian Dyip import already knows what sets the Beermen apart from the other teams.

“They are all competitors. You see who they are and being part of this team, you get an inside advantage why they are the champions. This is cool,” said Prosper.

The 2019 Philippine Cup and Commissioner’s Cup champions are currently preparing for East Asia Super League’s Terrific 12 which is set to kick off on Tuesday, September 17 at Tap Seac Stadium in Macau and the 30-year old Prosper has been tapped to reinforce the team along with Dez Well, the Beermen’s import for the upcoming PBA Governors’ Cup.

“I always love coming back here. It’s cool coming back here. I love it. We are building chemistry. I’ve been here for a few days and it’s good. I like what these guys are about over here,” said Prosper.

Being the new guy on the squad, the Dominican Republic native is looking to fit in and play his role to the best of his abilities in order to accomplish the team’s objectives.

“It’s important to learn from these guys and fit in. I don’t need to score 40 points, 20 points. We need to work together to be able to accomplish that goal that we are trying to accomplish which is a championship,” said Prosper.
