Douthit played for Gilas during the 2014 Asian Games and the 2015 Southeast Asian Games but it Andray Blatche who suited up for the team in the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
The 24-year old McCullough, who posted 16-game averages of 32.4 points, 15.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.4 blocks in his first PBA stint, had earlier expressed his willing to play for the country via tweet back in July.
