Phoenix enters PBA semifinals for the first time via 91-75 rout of Alaska

With a sustained high-octane game, Phoenix Pulse kept its breakthrough run going, ripping apart Alaska Milk, 91-76, to nail a first ever PBA semifinal entry at the MOA Arena in Pasay City Sunday.

Doing their assignments right in their long layoff, the Fuel Masters came out well prepared and simply outplayed the Aces to advance to the 2019 Philippine Cup Final Four versus the winner of the San Miguel Beer-TNT KaTropa matchup.

Jason Perkins had his personal breakthrough, firing away a career-high 31 points to lead Phoenix to a first playoff win in franchise history.

“We’re serious in what we’re trying to achieve. We’re here to win it,” said Perkins.

Truly, Phoenix looked well motivated and sharp in its 15-point thrashing of Alaska.

The Fuel Masters led by as many as 28 points before simply going through the motion to send the Aces to the exit.
