TNT Katropa went full throttle on both ends and dealt Blackwater a sound beating, 127-89, during the PBA Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center.

Hotshot Roger Pogoy heralded his return from sickbay by torching the Elite for 28 points while anchoring a back-breaking 31-0 run bridging the third and fourth quarters that took the fight out of Blackwater in this Petron Blaze Saturday Special duel.

Pogoy scored eight straight points to highlight the offensive blast which he capped with a rare dunk off a transition play.

TNT posted its biggest lead at 116-72.

Ginebra’s 32-0 run during Game 5 of the PBA First Conference Finals against Formula Shell was just a point better as the longest unanswered run in league annals.

The 38-point blowout also equalled the worst in franchise history for Blackwater or since absorbing a 123-85 loss to Rain or Shine in the 2015 Governors’ Cup.

The scores:

TNT 127 – Pogoy 28, Cruz 20, Rosario 17, Reyes 14, Trollano 11, Semerad 9, Taha 8, Heruela 6, Casino 5, Carey 4, Williams 2, Castro 2, Bono 1.
