Romeo Travis powers Magnolia to 20-point rout of NLEX

MAGNOLIA Pambansang Manok cut short NLEX’s winning run in the PBA Governors Cup after hacking out a wire-to-wire 102-72 victory Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

With former Best Import Romeo Travis leading the charge, the Hotshots raced to a 19-point lead late in the first quarter to set the tempo of the lopsided match.

Travis finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds in his first game back in the league since leading Alaska to the finals of this same tournament in 2015.
