San Miguel Alab Pilipinas hopes to ride the momentum of its two-game win streak when it takes on the unbeaten Mono Vampire of Thailand on Tuesday, December 17 at The Arena in San Juan.
Game time is 4:00pm with Alab looking to follow-up its 90-83 victory over the Singapore Slingers in the team’s home opener, Sunday at the Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex.
The Jimmy Alapag-mentored squad is hoping to extract revenge on the team that dealt them a 111-76 beating last November 17 in Thailand.
Alab will lean on World Imports Khalif Wyatt, who top scored for the squad against the Slingers with 28 points, man-mountain Sam Deguara and Nick Young in their bid to stretch their run to three games and move up to solo second in the team standings with a 3-1 card.
Likewise holding the fort for the Philippine representative to the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) are Fil-Ams Jason Brickman, Jeremiah Grey, Brandon Rosser as well as former SMB reserve Louie Vigil.
Former PBA import Mike Singletary and Thai-American Tyler Lamb will carry the cudgels for the visitors who are currently leading the league with a 3-0 record.
