Jones refuses to engage Ross over ‘baby’ label: “I’m not giving any credit to any dirty player”

San Miguel veteran Chris Ross blasted Terrence Jones claimed that the TNT reinforcement has the mentality of a two-year old baby after the two had another verbal and physical altercation during Game 3 of the best-of-seven Finals series in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Jones was whistled for a flagrant foul penalty one, which was upgraded to FFP2 after review by the league’s technical committee, and sat down three minutes of the match for headbutting Ross during a deadball situation in the first quarter. On the other hand, Ross received a technical foul for taunting.

The KaTropa went on to win the game as Jones contributed big numbers on almost all departments while Ross finished way below his conference averages.

An enraged Ross blasted Jones during a post-game interview but the former NBA player chose to play it coy and praised his teammates instead.

“I don’t know man. I don’t really got too much to say about it. I’m just here trying to win. I love this game of basketball, I’m not giving any credit to any dirty player. I want to continue talking about basketball,” said Jones.

“I think Troy had a great game, I think Roger had a great game, I think Don played an excellent game today. And Jayson of course. I wanna continue talking about basketball and give credit to my teammates on what we’re doing to fight through and continue trying to get wins,” he added.
