WATCH: Arwind Santos caught doing the monkey gesture towards Terrence Jones!

San Miguel team captain Arwind Santos was caught on camera doing the monkey gesture directed at Terrence Jones after the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Best Import was called for a loose-ball foul on Christian Standhardinger during the 1:05 mark of the 2nd period of Game 5 of the best-of-seven Finals series, Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The 38-year old Santos later admitted that he was warned directly by league commissioner Willie Marcial as well as the SMB coaching staff for his action but insisted that there was nothing wrong with it since ‘mind games’ are common in the Finals.

When asked if he was willing to apologize to Jones for the said act, Santos feels there’s no need for it.

“Magso-sorry ako? Hindi, kasi depende yun sa kanya. Kung mapipikon siya, totoong monkey siya. Kung hindi ka mapipikon, hindi ka monkey.”
