Magnolia and Rain or Shine go at each other for one last time Sunday to determine which of them does the Last Dance with titleholder San Miguel Beer in the PBA Philippine Cup.
The Hotshots have survived two do-or-die matches versus the Barangay Ginebra Kings in the quarterfinals while the Elasto Painters have dodged one Friday to force the rubber match.
Both have proved to be worthy semifinalists. But only one lives and the other dies as Magnolia and Rain or Shine slug it out in the deciding Game Seven of their well-fought Final Four clash at 6:30 p.m. at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.
“Basically, it’s now all about the will and the desire of the players. Whoever wants it more on Sunday will win this,” said Magnolia coach Chito Victolero.
“It’s 50/50. But as long as we come out and play hard, hit our shots like in Game Six, and become aggressive in attacking the basket, we’ll have a chance,” said ROS coach Caloy Garcia.
