Terrence Romeo’s first game against former team NorthPort was far from being pleasant.
The 3-time PBA scoring champion figured in a heated exchange with former teammate Nico Elorde in the 4th quarter of Game 1 of their best-of-three quarterfinal series and both players ended up being charged with technical fouls.
The two were immediately subbed out by their respective teams.
“For me, lahat sa court lang ako. Emotions yun eh,” said Romeo.
Kapagka may ganung situation, siyempre meron talagang ganung pagkakataon,” he added.
For his part, Elorde similarly brushed off the incident and claimed it was just part of the game.
“Part lang naman ng game yun. Ganun naman talaga ako dumipensa. Palaban siya, palaban din ako, so walang aatras,” said the grandson of the late boxing great Gabriel ‘Flash’ Elorde.
