Matt Ganuelas-Rosser comes home to TNT

Matt Ganuelas-Ross is back where it all started.
TNT announced on Friday that they have enlisted the 31-year old Fil-Am who became an unrestricted free agent after turning down a guaranteed two-year extension offer from Terrafirma Dyip.
“Matt brings with him great hustle, energy, and championship experience. Welcome back to TNT Tropang Giga, Matt,” said Tropang Giga team manager Gabby Cui.
Rosser, who was drafted by NLEX with the 4th overall pick during the 2014 draft, started his PBA career with the flagship team of the MVP group and was part of the group that bagged the 2015 Commissioner’s Cup.
He was dealt to San Miguel in 2017 for RR Garcia and went on to capture four more championships with the Beermen.
The PBA All-Star Rookies vs Sophomores Game MVP is now looking forward to his reunion with Chot Reyes, his first coach in the league and the one responsible for bringing him to Gilas Pilipinas.
“That’s one of the biggest reasons why I came back to sign with TNT, it’s because of Coach Chot Reyes. He was my first coach in the Philippines and he brought me here from the US to join Gilas Pilipinas,” said Rosser during a telephone interview with PBA Rush.
“For the most part of my career, the reason why I was continuously competing is to contend for a championship. Now, I’m rejoining a team that just won a championship and has a good chance of winning another one,” he added.
