Titan sends Abueva to Converge for Caralipio, Omega and Suerte

The Converge FiberXers have made a significant move by acquiring Calvin Abueva from Titan Ultra in exchange for players King Caralipio, Mark Omega, and Rey Suerte.

The deal received the green light from the PBA Commissioner’s Office on Tuesday.

Notably, Abueva joins the FiberXers following an impressive performance with Titan Ultra in the recently concluded Philippine Cup, where he emerged as a strong candidate for the Best Player of the Conference award, ultimately won by June Mar Fajardo of San Miguel Beer.

This trade also marks a reunion for the controversial forward and his long-time supporter, Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda, who is now the head coach of Converge.

During the last conference, Abueva showcased his skills, averaging an impressive 23.60 points, 11.90 rebounds, and 3.60 assists per game.
