Mikey Williams signs two-year max rookie deal with TNT

Mikey Williams is now officially a part of TNT after the 29-year old Fil-Am signed a two-year max rookie deal with the flagship team of the MVP group in the PBA
The 6-foot-2 Wiliams, who was taken by the Tropang Giga with the 4th overall pick in the PBA Season 46 draft, finally agreed to sign on the dotted line after a long standoff.
Team manager Gabby Cui confirmed the development on Monday.
Under the terms of the deal, the former MPBL player is bound to receive a total of P5.4 million for the next two years. His salary is pegged at P200,000 per month during his rookie season and then P250,000 for the following year.
Williams is currently in Los Angeles, USA and is unable to book a flight to the country due to some documentation issues. TNT management, however, is already working on the details of his arrival.
The addition of the NBA G-League veteran is a much-needed boost for the Tropang Giga especially after the 2020 Philippine Cup runner-up lost star guard Ray Parks who opted to skip the upcoming season due to personal matters.
