The 3rd overall pick of the 2019 PBA rookie draft previously saw action for the men’s national team during the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China. He submitted 5-game averages of 8.6 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in his first and only stint so far.

Bolick, who was rumored to be considering a move to the Japan B.League, also came to terms with NorthPort on a fresh contract.

The 6-foot-1 playmaker signed the extension Friday evening at Corinthian Hills in the presence of Batang Pier team manager Bonnie Tan and his agent Marvin Espiritu.

Terms of the deal, however, were not divulged.

Bolick will not play in NorthPort’s game against Rain or Shine on Saturday, February 12 but he will join the team in the sidelines.

Batang Pier management has given its full blessing on Bolick’s addition to the national team which will compete in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers scheduled in the country later this month.
