Robert Bolick signs three-year deal with NLEX

NLEX has officially signed newly acquired guard Robert Bolick to a three-year contract, as announced on Sunday through their official website, Arangkadanlex.com.

This recent agreement follows closely after Bolick, along with Kent Salado, were acquired from NorthPort in exchange for Don Trollano, Kris Rosales, Ben Adamos, and a future second-round pick.

The ex-San Beda standout made his first appearance on Wednesday, tallying nine points, four assists, and a rebound in a 33-minute game for NLEX. Unfortunately, the team suffered a 113-101 defeat against TNT on the same day that Asi Taulava’s jersey was retired during a halftime ceremony at the PhilSports Arena.

Expressing his warm welcome, NLEX team governor Ronald Dulatre believes that the high-scoring guard will play a significant role for the Road Warriors. The team has been striving to secure their first league title since acquiring the Air21 franchise and joining the PBA in the 2014-15 season.

“We are thrilled to welcome Robert Bolick to the NLEX Road Warriors family. His skill, dedication, and winning mentality make him an invaluable addition to our roster. We believe in his ability to lead our team to success,” said Dulatre in an official statement.

“As we eagerly await the recovery of Kevin Alas, we want to assure our fans that we are committed to building a championship team. The management is dedicated to providing the necessary support and resources to create a winning culture. We are confident that with Bolick’s leadership and the collective effort of the team, we will achieve great success in the upcoming seasons.”

Alas will be unable to play for the remainder of the season due to an early season ACL tear, the third in his career.

NLEX currently holds the 10th position in the standings with a 2-4 record, having lost their last four games in the PBA Season 48 Commissioner’s Cup.
